Work has been absolutely insanely busy lately, so much so that just about every minute of each day is filled with something to do that’s high priority. I feel guilty only working nine to ten hours a day because it doesn’t feel long enough, I don’t leave my desk to eat lunch + I’m constantly refreshing my inbox out of fear I won’t respond to an important email fast enough. Don’t get me wrong, I love what I’m doing but sometimes I need my moments to slow down, breathe + collect my thoughts, and I find blogging to be such a great outlet for it. Reading articles and admiring photos is so soothing. A wave of relaxation comes over me when I look at photos like the ones above, and I go to my happy place when I stumble upon great finds like the links below. « Read the rest of this entry »

I’ve been very far behind in keeping up with my favorite reads. These girls just have so much to say + many wonderful things to share. Through my blogosphere explorations I’ve been drawn to so many creative minds. The idea of posting my favorite photographs & articles from the past week is by no means an original idea of mine, but it’s a good one! If it hasn’t already been apparent through the ladies (and gent) who have written guest posts for me, I have found so many bloggers who have inspired me + encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone as a blogger + photographer. And believe me, these six are just the tip of the iceberg!
I’ve been so busy catching up on work + battling what I think might be a small stomach bug, but I can’t have a day without reading through my favorites.
