crushing on colorado.

When a girlfriend of mine suggested a long weekend getaway to visit two mutual friends in Denver, I just couldn’t say no. I’d never been to Colorado before, so besides the ski towns I had no idea what to expect, and oh was I pleasantly surprised. The city is very different than LA but I think that’s what I really liked about it, and of course getting to dig through some fresh powder on my snowboard in Vail was an extra bonus. Below are a small group of photos that sum up my trip highlights:
picturesque chairlift rides
greeting vail for the first time
admiring the backdrop of the red rocks ampitheatre
wandering down larimer square
trying unique beer flavors like graham cracker and thin mint at denver beer co.
gazing up at the old architecture in downtown
having my camera out at the perfect time to capture moments like this one
taking it all in
On a slightly separate note, I have something to run past you all. I’ve been contemplating writing up weekend guides for all the cities I’ve visited over the last two years. Each would include places to go, things to do and my dining recommendations. Is this something you would be interested in seeing on this little blog of mine?

I’ve never been to Colorado, but it looks stunning. Such a fun trip!
It has so much charm too, and the restaurants were quite impressive!

I definitely won’t talk you out of that decision!
I’m so glad that you loved Denver! I’ve lived here for a few months and I just can’t get enough of it. Especially the mountains!

I can see why! If I lived that close to mountains I’d be there all the time!
I must have missed when you put this up! Just saw it and I love it. Come back soon! Miss you.
