It’s no secret that I live for cottaging in the summer when I’m in Toronto, but the trek up north in the winter is just as worth it. Of course it helps when there’s a big blanket of snow just about everywhere you look! It’s the perfect place to hit the slopes, après ski, bundle up under blankets and girl talk with wine in hand. Having an undisturbed view of a frozen lake isn’t so bad either, so when my friends and I escaped there for a long weekend I knew a photo shoot with that backdrop was a necessary addition to the list. What you see here are a handful of my favorites. What you don’t see are the photos that capture the moment when they all decided to tackle me to the ground so I became covered head to toe in snow. Have I mentioned how great they are? :)
