rome | street charm.

I’d been to Rome in 2006 so I anticipated many a déjà vu moment, but to my surprise I was wrong! The landmarks, the smells of fresh pasta and pizza wandering onto the streets, and the sights of Italian men in their Italian-tailored suits all of course came straight back to me instantly – but that was it. I had forgotten so much, it was as if I was in Kelly’s shoes seeing it all for the first time. Obviously I went camera insane but for good reason. Even with Italy facing a very tough economic crisis, it by no means seemed to slow those Romans down. Even in an off-tourist season, those guys were everywhere too!

For such a busy and happenin’ city, I was able to pause and capture some moments. These are my best attempts. The city really made it easy though. It was so beautiful everywhere we looked.

Apparently these weren’t the only streets I found charming.
