one too many cups of these | day dreaming out my window | not enough time spent under these | lots and lots of editing
For as long as I can remember, the Labor Day long weekend always involves two things: friends and being outdoors. If I’m not taking in the sights and serenity of Muskoka to bask in what little of summer is left then I’m out on a patio saying sayonara to hot weather with a cold beer or cocktail in hand. This weekend could not have been more different. With two papers due yesterday and one today, I spent the weekend typing away at my desk, letting my fridge deplete and craving fresh air. Hello grad school! Thank goodness for the Trojans home opener tailgaters and a FaceTime chat with some girlfriends, I think those two moments gave me some doses of sanity that were much needed!
