Kelly couldn’t have made a better choice to study at Trinity College – it is seriously gorgeous! After dropping off my bags and freshening up, she offered to give me a tour of her campus before her student card expired and of course I took her up on it. It’s very rare that I use the word ‘magnificent’ to describe things, but being as it is such an old university with a rich amount of history I’d like to think it’s a give-in that the campus is deserving of such an adjective. Dublin was sunny that day, which is apparently something that just never happens so there were students everywhere. Naturally this great weather called for ciders and guinness at the Pav – the on-campus sports bar on the football pitch. We drank, we toasted, we caught up, met some other Canadians and just had the best afternoon. It couldn’t have been a better start to the trip.

Hint: Order a cider (like Devil’s Bit) with blackberry liqueur. You can thank me later :)
