singapore | little india.

It’s weird to sum up my Southeast Asia trip with a post from Singapore since it wasn’t how the trip actually ended. It was number three out of the seven unique, beautiful and breathtaking countries I got the chance to see. Little India – in south central Singapore – was where our hostel was. I’d rather spare listing its name because I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. It’s not the worst hostel I’ve ever stayed at, but nobody staying there was social which made it hard to meet people {and isn’t that what makes the hostel experience so much fun?} and there was no bag security system at all. The area though was so colourful and lively. I felt like I had been transported to India {I can only imagine of course because I’ve never been}. It’s a great area for young tourists and backpackers to stay – central location on a bus line that goes directly downtown, great food options and lots of market space. You can’t go wrong!

I just happened to click on your link and was pleasantly surprised to see my own country’s images pop up at me :) Little India is so full of colour, isn’t it? I guess Singapore’s more of a stop-over for many tourists, but it is a decent home :)
