singapore | botanical gardens.

I absolutely love parks! There’s something about them that’s just so calming and Singapore’s Botanical Gardens was no exception. Even though I was only there for three and a half days I went twice, I mean how could I not? The waterfalls, flowers, trees and sprawling fields of pristine cut grass all came together to make this incredible oasis right in the middle of the country. Really, you ought to go.

Would you believe me if I told you each of those strings were tree roots? I don’t even know how this walkway was made but how cool is that?

I swear around this time temperatures spiked to 40 degrees (FYI I speak the language of Celsius) so we were pretty relieved to find this path of shade!

Then I discovered how to use my shutter and this photo happened – perfect timing I say.
