After Riley + I said our tired goodbyes to Kuala Lumpur and our friend Andrew, we hoped on an overnight train bound for Singapore. We splurged on a deluxe first class sleeper equipped with a shower and washroom for the 8-hour journey all at the outrageous price of $38 – have I mentioned how much I love Asia? :)
After checking into our hostel, we dropped our bags and headed straight for Marina Bay Sands. This boat-shaped resort is one of the most spectacular buildings I’ve ever seen – beyond the room accommodations, it houses a mall, museum, two large theatres, seven celebrity chef restaurants, two floating crystal pavilions, an ice skating rink & a casino*. And on the very top floor sits a skypark and a breathtaking infinity pool. You have to see it to believe it! I snapped these shots during our visit up to the skypark. I’m shocked {but also thankful} we don’t look as exhausted as we felt.
