malaysia | more from my day in melaka.

It’s amazing how even though these photos are a little over a year old I remember this day and all the others like it was yesterday. I remember how hot it was, what I was wearing, the walking route Riley + I took, certain stores we ducked into and certain purchases we made that I still find myself loving and wearing. Call me crazy, but when I travel it’s as if all my senses are heightened and I’m so much more attune to everything around me – the colours of the buildings, the people going about their days, and the smells of fresh cuisine lingering onto the streets. It’s a huge reason why I love photography so much – it allows me to transport back, gives me memories to hold onto and triggers my desire for another adventure!
