kuala lumpur | national mosque + royal palace.

There are certain parts of Kuala Lumpur that house the most beautiful + ornate architecture. The walk from the National Mosque to the Royal Palace was littered with old brickwork, arched mouldings, marble trimmings + gold accents. So beautiful. We ran into a few barriers that should have discouraged us from continuing on our walking tour around the city but instead we made the most of it. We missed gaining entry into the National Mosque by a few minutes because of afternoon prayer + fought through a torrential downpour just as we pulled up to the Royal Palace {oh well}. We didn’t enjoy any of it any less.
