I’ve been long anticipating this weekend for a while. Having some of my favorites all together in a room while I blow out a candle or two with a glass of champagne in hand is something I haven’t done in years. For a range of reasons, I haven’t had a true birthday celebration in a while and the streak is nearing its end! I hope this forecasted rain is Mother Nature playing tricks on me. There’s a certain patio in a certain neighbourhood with a certain martini on its menu that’s calling my name.
