I’ve never been to so many cottages in one summer before + I couldn’t be happier about it. Each time I was lucky enough to venture up north during the month of August, I had always assumed that it would be the last cottage weekend until next summer + thus made sure to enjoy my time to the fullest. Even though summer officially feels over, cottage season isn’t! I got invited to a friend’s cottage in Apsley (a small town north of Peterborough) for a weekend away. It was so lovely – a truly relaxing few days with a small group of friends. Fall was definitely in the air – I spent the entire time bundled up under layers of wool sweaters! The water was relatively warm so there was lots of wakeboarding, tubing, canoeing + fishing. Missing it all already!
